The “RI-CREA” project foresees the realization of a creative path in Pietralata in collaboration with the local educational institutions and at the educational and art-educational centre for minors activated in the XXV Aprile Sporting Centre, an historical compound in the quarter that, since 2007, promotes social inclusion and the respect and valorization of differences.
Since 2023, Liberi Nantes offers 3 artistic workshops: photography, arte and theatre.
The photography workshop is divided into two parts: (1) photographic story-telling: a basic course on photographic techniques, prevalently technical-practical; (2) from photo-journalism to creative reporting: production and publication of a photographic project linked to the territory, observed with new eyes by the young with their camera.
The artistic workshop is conducted by Informadarte, an Association headquartered in Pietralata and active since 1996. It entails weekly meetings of 2 hours each during which participants work with graphic illustrations and texts created and written by the same middle school students under the guidance of an Italian teacher, then exposed to the XXV Aprile Sporting Center.
The theatre workshop is conducted by the Libera-mente Association, active for more than 10 years in Pietralata. It is structured like a play-training course using physical techniques and improvisation, including mime and body expression.
In 2022, the project was undertaken in partnership with Sanità di Frontiere, which provided photography, visual arts and theatre workshops.
