THE PROJECT IN DETAIL
Objectives
Working on the cultural and educational offer for the young people of the city of Latina and contributing to the social regeneration of the Q4 neighbourhood, starting with the young people.
Giving young people the chance to be the protagonists of change in the neighbourhood where they live, promoting social inclusion through art and culture; enhancing the creative and narrative skills of young people; offering practical tools to transform artistic passions into professional opportunities.
Beneficiairies
Around 20 young people aged between 18 and 25 from the Q4 district or residents of the city of Latina.
Activities
The project includes a series of laboratories for young people in the Q4 neighbourhood of Latina, divided into several modules, each aimed at providing specific skills and stimulating the participants’ creativity. The goal is to create team building among people who will cooperate, after the project, in various activities useful to the neighbourhood and for those who live there. It starts with an introductory module on Storytelling addressed to all participants, followed by theoretical-practical modules (Graphic novels and illustrations; Street art and visual suggestions; Podcasts; Augmented reality) that directly involve participants in the construction of various contents. The project aims to initiate a dialogue with the girls and boys to create a multimedia, artistic and experiential story for the neighbourhood. A final meeting is planned to co-design the final event where the works realised are exhibited. Finally, participation in the Più Libri Più Liberi small-scale publishing fair in Rome is planned, where the boys can recount their experience and present the catalogue book with the content created during the course.
