The festival involves performances, meetings, presentations of books and exhibits, films and round tables on the theme of theater, juvenile justice, mediation and restorative justice.
THE PROJECT IN DETAIL
Objectives
To build a culture of legality by contributing to a critical revision of illegal conduct;
To contribute to the social reinsertion of minors in the penal system;
To promote occasions for reflection on the themes of legality and juvenile justice, overcoming prejudices and including those who have committed crimes;
To consolidate the positive experiences of CURAE 2023 by providing an annual event of national prominence that shines a light on the theme of juvenile justice, theater, mediation and restorative justice.

4 imprisoned youths who participate in the activities of the festival.
200 people – general public and round tables.
Activities
The project involves support to the second edition of CURAE, a festival organized by the Associazione Nazionale Teatri e Giustizia Minorile, promoted by the Department of Juvenile Justice and Community, the Ministry of Justice, the City of Pontremoli and the Prontemoli Juvenile Penal Institute.
The CURAE FESTIVAL 2024 was held in Pontremoli from 16-20 April 2024 in various areas of the city: the Teatro Rosa and adjacent theater rooms, the Church of San Geminiano, the City Gardens, the corridor of the Court, the Sala dei Sindaci, the Cresa Bridge, the Salone del Seminario and the Manzoni Cinema.
For this second edition of the Festival, CCO – Crisi Come Opportunità (crisis as opportunity) reinforced its presence both in undertaking and creating as well as the days of work in Pontremoli: conducting the PAROLE CHIAVE happening that was entrusted to Kento and Lucariello, senior trainers of the Presidi Culturali Permanenti project, supported by A. Four youths (one from the Airole IPM, 2 from the Catania Cooperativa Prospettiva, and one from the ministerial community of Catanzaro participated in the festival by performing during different theatrical and musical moments according to their artistic abilities.
