Altissima Povertà Event in Novara

On April 13, 2017 at 6:30 p.m., at the Salone Arengo in Broletto, headquarters of the first district of Novara, the Oltre le Quinte Association presented Altissima Povertà, choreography created by Virgilio Sieni in 2016.

Seventy five dancers and citizens between the ages of 10 and 80 participated in Altissima Povertà, among which five members of Oltre le Quinte, involved for four months in rehearsals in various parts of the city, from the outskirts to the centre. After the debut at the Reggia di Venaria (July 1, 2016), pieces of the choreography were performed for the Biennial of Democracy in Turin (April 1, 2017) and presented at the Salone dell’Arengo in the thirteenth century City Hall.
