Create occasions for meeting and exchange between the musicians of AllegroModerato and Oltre le Quinte, who are involved in community musical activities.
Beneficiairies
13 professionals from the Oltre le Quinte Association of Novara (of whom 8 with specific training in Orchestral Music therapy).
Activities
The project foresees training and supervision conducted by the AllegroModerato musicians for the Oltre le Quinte professionals on community music methodology experimented over the years by AllegroModerato at the Niguarda Pediatric Hospital and the San Carlo Hospital of Milan for young patients, also involving disabled musicians. These music workshops culminated in research and subsequent publication of an analysis of the methodology, the processes of inclusion, the social impact and the potential of the project.
Following this training, the Oltre le Quinte orchestral group, similar in composition and methodology to AllegroModerato, will be able to apply the methodology in hospitals and other social contexts in Novara and the Piemonte area. In detail, the training is composed of two parts: lessons in theory at the Oltre le Quinte headquarters in Novara and meetings at the “Tutta un’altra musica” workshops being undertaken in the pediatric wards of the San Carlo Borromeo Hospital and San Paolo Hospital in Milan.
