A Silver Lion awarded to Babilonia Theatres

Pinocchio - Amici di Luca, Teatro dei Risvegli 

The 2016 Venice Film Festival awarded a Silver Lion for theatrical innovation to Babilonia Theatres because they do “of their theatre a tool of social inclusion”, as in Pinocchio, a show born in 2012 from collaboration with the Amici di Luca (friends of Luca) Association. The show involves young post-coma patients of the Luca de Nigris House of Awakenings.

The awarding ceremony will be held on July 29, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sala delle Colonne (Cà Giustinian) in Venice.
