Objectives
To develop the impact evaluation, paying particular attention to the changes in the lives of the young people from the company.
Beneficiairies
Members of the theatre company Puntozero (20/30 young detainees, former detainees, minors subject to non-custodial measures and students aged between 16 and 25) and professionals.
Activities
The project involves evaluating the social impact of the theatre workshop, supported by AMI since 2017 and run by the theatre company Puntozero in “C. Beccaria” juvenile prison in Milan. The evaluation is carried out by the Department of Human Sciences for Education of the Bicocca University of Milan using a participatory approach involving all the main stakeholders – young detainees, company management, actors, prison officers, educators, administrative staff, medical staff, trainers involved in other professional workshops at the prison, detainees’ parents – with meetings to co-plan the evaluation model and identify the indicators, individual and group interviews and questionnaires.
